Sketch and Finish

Sometimes I like my sketches more than the finished painting. It's not that the painting is bad or not what I was trying to portray. It's just that some subtle little thing gets lost somewhere along the way. It's usually in the face. The curve of a lip, the glint in an eye. Well, you be the judge....

MUTANTS & MASTERMINDS

These were done for the Mutants & Masterminds RPG from Green Ronin Publishing. It'd been awhile since i'd done any superhero/comicbook type drawings, which are my first love, so it was a welcome change of pace. They were also among the first things i'd colored in photoshop.

I don't do studies nearly as much as I should. I like this one, mostly because Stacey is easy on the eyes. Drawing cute goth girls is always fun.

First post, WARLORD Art

I've been thinking about putting up a website to use as a portfolio for a long time but i've just never gotten around to it. This is my first step to actually doing something about it. I'll be posting finished pieces as well as sketches and studies. This first piece is from the Warlord ccg. I'd tell you what he's called but I rarely pay attention to the characters' name since they more often than not change it before publishing.
